This is a favourite medium for me as it is so direct. A pen line is so immediate and positive (even if it is in the wrong place and unalterable). Nothing gets in the way of your response to what you’re looking at. Its a bit “seat of the pants” but that is part of the enjoyment of drawing this way. You never know quite how it will go. The colour or tone goes in for 3D effects and to mess it up even more. Its a million miles away from colouring in and best done quickly with no fiddling. The use of sepia is great for adding tone which make you think about composition, and is less harsh than black. FW acrylic inks are great for this sort of drawing and dry quickly.
